September 8

Great day, Pythons!

We started out at the library.  Junior students are allowed to take out 4 books at a time.  A reminder to the kids of room 28: You are expected to read 20 minutes every night for homework.  Next, we worked on our anchor chart for personal narratives.  We also had our read aloud.  Meg and Aiden have been tracked down by a man driving a truck!

After 1st NB, we had gym.  Then we had a multiplication blaster.  Remember to practice by doing the questions posted in yesterday’s blog.  After that we did the horse problem (picture posted).  We had a lot of great discussion, but we could not agree on the answer.

After 2nd NB, we finished up our art and had music.

For homework, read for 20 minutes and find an example of a really big number from the read world.  Bring in the number and be ready to explain where the number came from and what it means.

See you tomorrow!
